Founded in 2006 by Richard J. Keyworth.

KEYWORTH FIRE AND SAFETY CONSULTANTS, Inc provides professional consulting services to businesses and corporations that have from 30 to 100 employees.  These employees can be employed in a single facility or multiple locations.

 They provide services in areas involving Business Continuity and Emergency Management to Risk Analysis, Fire Protection, Life Safety and Loss Prevention.

Mr. Keyworth has in excess of 30 years of experience in the fields of Emergency Management and Loss prevention.  He is a graduate of the National Emergency Training Center in Emmitsburg, Md. Where he completed an intensive 80 Hour course in Planning for Large Scale Emergencies.

 He also served as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Harper College in Palatine, IL for 10+ years.  He is a noted author and lecturer in the fields of Emergency Management and Loss Prevention.

 He has appeared on the Discovery Channel providing analysis for several programs involving fires and burn injuries. He has been qualified as an “Expert Witness” in Fires and Accidents in Federal Court.  He has testified in court on numerous occasions.

He was formerly the Chairman of the North Cook County LEPC (Local Emergency Planning Committee) planning for large scale Hazardous Materials Incidents.

He is a Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) by the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) and a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) by the Association of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers. Both certifications by examination.
